Will the swelling from EVLA and phlebectomy go away?
Post EVLT swelling does go away and you should see a decrease 10-14 days after your procedure.
Question: By a vein doctor in Peoria, I had a phlebectomy of my foot varicose veins, along with EVLA for my leg’s varicose veins. I’ve noticed that on my foot and ankle, where I have stitches, there is swelling. I am 2 days into recovery. Does this go away?
Answer: Yes, the post procedure swelling does go away, however, this takes time. Typically 10 – 14 days at minimum.
