Is there any risk in not doing microphlebectomy after my vein closure procedure?
My leg feels a lot better after 2-months but some bulging veins remain. Could I worsen my condition if I don’t remove the bulging veins? How would blood flow out?
If the bulging veins are bothersome, you can certainly have them treated as you chose. The circulation in the legs is largely dependent upon the deep vein system; by removing or closing the superficial veins, the circulation in the legs is slightly improved as it no longer pools in the bulging veins. The overall circulation is not compromised by superficial vein treatment.
