Question: It has been a week since my EVLT procedure, and I am wondering if I should continue wearing the compression stocking?
Answer: Providers will oftentimes have differing opinions on how long you should wear compression after intervention. In my practice, after a week, compression is only recommended for comfort and support. If they help make your legs feel better because you are having residual post procedure discomfort then you can wear them. If your legs feel good without them, you do not have to wear them.
