Health Tips to Help Prevent Varicose and Spider Veins

Some good general advice was recently shared by U.S. News Health Tip regarding varicose and spider veins. There are a few additional points that should be considered when discussing venous health. Regarding do’s and don’ts to remember; it is important to maintain adequate hydration. In doing so, one will encourage healthy adequate blood flow thereby minimizing the risk of complications.

Additionally, venous disease is largely determined by genetic pre-disposition; the part of ourselves that we cannot alter or control. Therefore, if you are having symptoms more days than not, it is important to be evaluated by a competent provider to see if additional conservative or interventional therapies are right for you.
